Dr Sheraz Anjum
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr Sheraz Anjum (MBBS, FRACS, FAOrthA, FCPS) is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon at JVOG (Joint Vision Orthopaedic Group) with advanced skills in foot and ankle, trauma, and limb reconstruction surgeries.
As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association, Dr Anjum has previously completed accredited fellowships in foot and ankle surgery, limb reconstruction, and complex trauma management in Australia.
Dr. Anjum is the current Director of Orthopaedics at Wollongong Hospital, having succeeded Dr. Dares in this role. As the head of a busy regional hospital department, Dr. Anjum is responsible for governance activities and the oversight of more than 15 orthopaedic surgeons, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the effective management of orthopaedic services.
Dr Anjum has presented at numerous local, national and international conferences and as guest speaker. He also contributes to teaching and mentoring orthopaedic registrars and involvement with graduate medical students in an Honorary Senior Lecturer appointment at the University of Wollongong. Sheraz provides regular updates and information to General Practitioners, Podiatrists, and Allied Health workers in Wollongong and the Illawarra region on the latest advancements in foot and ankle surgery.
